Alice in Wonderland

Slightly nice work from Tim Burton and the rest of the crew..The Movie that was magically released to our sunny Island on 4th March. Had a chance to catch the fantasy movie today. While I agreed that in terms of graphic and stunning visuals were under par to fellow 3D Movie, Avatar; Quotes in the fantasy movie may have won my heart over. Memorable quotes starting off with Mad Hatter and Alice.

The Mad Hatter: Have I gone mad?
Alice Kingsley: I'm afraid so. You're entirely bonkers. But I'll tell you a secret. All the best people are.(Where you could see Alice was trying to encourage Hatter just as the same when our confused Alice met Hatter for the first time).

While Stayne Knave of Hearts tried to report the situation to the Red Queen

Jabberwocky: So my old foe, we meet on the battlefield once again.
Alice Kingsley: We have never met.
Jabberwocky: Not you, insignificant bearer. My ancient enemy, the Vorpal one.

Besides that somehow what disappoints me was the fight between Alice and the Jabberwocky. Plain and boring fight was executed in the finale( Just like the red queen, big head and just perfectly dumb)=P. Could have predicted that since Alice was portrayed as an ordinary girl with no martial arts background. How she killed the 'magnificent dragon'? Got a help from the miserable dragon by giving her lift off into the air and down she goes with the sword slicing off the dragon's head. While Tim Burton did expand the connection of the fantasy characters with Alice, it was still way to shorty. Nevertheless, this 1865 classic story is still worth a watch.

So which characters in the movie do you like? For me, it's gonna be the Mad Hatter with his outrageous red hair.=P
